We are thrilled to announce that at the recent SCA Queensland Awards for Excellence, our very own Julie MacCarthy won the award for Senior Strata Community Manager of the Year for Queensland.
This follows on from last year when, at the 2019 SCA Queensland Awards, Julie won the Ann Shevill Essay Award for an essay on mental health in the strata industry.
With more than 12 years’ experience in body corporate management, Julie draws on her extensive experience to understand as many facets of body corporate life as possible and strives to be innovative in her dealings. Julie keeps her focus on moving forward with a structured plan that works in tandem with the Capitol culture and values.
Julie works hard to mentor her team and believes her genuine compassion is one of her greatest assets as both a leader and a strata manager. She is a collaborator who works with her team in a personable way and has a deep commitment to guiding her team well and with integrity. Her strong understanding of business requirements allows her to focus on her team and provide the necessary assistance, while her respectful treatment of clients and practical solutions to body corporate issues have resulted in an outstanding rate of business retention. Julie believes her values of honesty, transparency, integrity, respect and trust allow her to lead by example and succeed.
We are so proud of Julie, and all the hard work and commitment she shows each and every day for her team and her clients. This is a very well- deserved award – congratulations, Julie! This award reflects the endless hours Julie has put in working with owners to create happy, healthy and harmonious body corporate communities throughout Redcliffe. We are extremely pleased to see her passion and commitment to her clients being rewarded.
