Every now and then we’ll be introducing you to one of our team members so you can get to know the friendly team at Capitol in a bit more depth. This month we focus on Katie Todd, Community Relationship Manager and Team Leader at Capitol.
What is your role at Capitol?
My role as Team Leader is to ensure the team at the Surfers Paradise Gold Coast office are working well together to the best of our ability.
My Community Relationship Manager (CRM) role is to ensure the committees and lot owners in my portfolio are happy and receive assistance when required, assist with problem solving, meet legislative deadlines within the industry, and to offer guidance to the Committee regarding the many issues most bodies corporate face.
What is your proudest moment at Capitol?
Having clients really wanting to work with me and getting great feedback from committees on an ongoing basis. I make sure my committees and owners are happy and have everything they need from me. It’s my number one priority and I am proudest when I deliver on that.
What is your favourite part about working at Capitol?
The people I work with here at Capitol are fantastic and I very much enjoy working with them. The Directors are very accessible; the team structure is commendable and everyone at Capitol is friendly and helpful.
Describe yourself in three words?
Conscientious, down-to-earth, passionate.
What are some of your interests/hobbies outside of work?
I love making jewellery – it’s a huge passion! I also love spending time with my 85-year-old mum and doing crosswords (she was a legal secretary for many years and still very good with words!). We have recently taken over a rescue dog that we named Paris and she is adorable and very energetic – she loves going for walks and retrieving thrown toys. My grandchildren are also the loves of my life – Richie, Ollie and Ava. I adore them and love my Nana-time with them.
