Levy Payments

Capitol gives all owners a variety of levy payment options through the DEFT Payment System run by Macquarie Bank.

Levy Payments Options available:

Customer Initiated Direct Debits

Australia Post

Online

Step 1: Either logon to www.deft.com.au or click on the DEFT logo

Step 2: In ‘Make a Payment’ enter your 20 digit DEFT Reference Number (located in the bottom section

of your levy notice) and select ‘Go’

Step 3: Please keep proof of your payment, by either printing a receipt or recording your receipt number.

Customer Initiated Direct Debits

Provides for 3 payment options

Future Dated Payments or
Recurring Payments

Step 1: Initially register your details by completing the online DEFT Customer Initiated Direct Debit
Request form by logging on to www.deft.com.au or clicking on the DEFT logo.

Step 2: Once registration is completed you may immediately make payments

online or by phoning DEFT on 1300 30 10 90. At the time of making your

payment you will be asked for your DEFT Reference Number.

Step 3: Please retain proof of your payment, by either printing a receipt or

recording the receipt number.

BPay

Step 1: Initially contact your participating financial institution to set up the BPAY

payment option from your cheque or savings account.

Step 2: When making a payment, enter the Biller Code & the DEFT Reference Number, both are located

on the bottom section on your levy notice.

Step 3: Please retain proof of your payment, by either printing a receipt or

recording the receipt number.

Mail

Step 1: Make cheques payable to the name of your body corporate

Step 2: Mail your cheque with your payment slip to:

Please note: if your tear off slip is not included, Deft will not accept payment.

Australia Post

Step 1: Present your DEFT levy notice at any Australia Post Office, payments can

be made by cash, cheque or EFTPOS.

Step 1: If paying by cheque, please make payable to the name of your body corporate.

Step 2: Please retain the receipt provided by Australia Post as proof of payment.

Credit Card Payments

Payments can be made by using your credit card which includes - Visa, Bankcard, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club. Phone 1300 301 090

Check with your Biller if this payment option is available. Please note a surcharge applies.
